Hundreds took part in the quest to find Hammersmith’s best lunch venue – and now the votes have been counted.

The Hammersmith Ram in King Street narrowly defeated The Dartmouth Castle in Glenthorne Road in the best pub category.

Hammersmith Broadway’s Lala, which serves contemporary Mediterranean cuisine, was named best restaurant, and the recently opened St Paul’s Cafe, in the community centre at St Paul’s Church, took home the best cafe title.

Each winner will be given an engraved trophy with the option of adding a wall plaque.

Business Improvement District (BID) HammersmithLondon launched the competition in May, with voters visiting the BID’s Facebook page to ‘like’ their favourites.
