An actor from Whitton joined forces with comedian Jenny Eclair for a new Channel 4 game show airing this afternoon.

Dan Eglinton, of High Street, Whitton, will put his sketching skills to the test when he appears on Draw It! today (Tuesday, May 20) at 4.30pm.

He and Jenny Eclair take on choreographer Louis Spence and another member of the public in the guessing game, hosted by Mel Geidroyc, in which teams must correctly what their partner is trying to draw.

Mr Eglinton, who studied drama at St Mary's University, in Twickenham, said: "It was filmed a year ago and I'm sure I embarrassed myself but I can't remember quite how so I'm dreading watching the show."

The 22-year-old, who works front of house at the Harold Pinter Theatre and Battersea Arts Centre, and is taking a physical theatre show he co-created on tour to Brighton and France this year, said he couldn't remember why he entered in the first place because his drawing skills are so bad.

* Tune in to Channel 4 at 4.30pm today to see how he gets on.
