Staff and students at Stockley Academy today celebrated their GCSE results.

The Gazette caught up with some of the students just after they opened their brown envelopes.

The number of students achieving the top grades of A* and A has in a range of subjects was particularly impressive.

Stockley Academy student Jamie-Leigh Atkins got the grades she needs to become a physio

Congratulations go to Dominic Santa-Maria, who achieved eight A and A* grades. Dominic is looking forward to returning to the academy in September to study for his A-levels.

Students Toktan Tabibi and Rebecca Walker together achieved an impressive 13 A* and A grades.  They will also be back in September as they embark on their A-level studies.
