At least two people have locked themselves on to the gate at the former nursery in Sipson occupied by Transition Heathrow to prevent bailiffs evicting the squatters.
Tracy Howard, 40, and her daughter Olivia, 15, have lived in Sipson for 17 years.

Tracy’s husband’s family have been here since the 1800s. His grandmother is buried in Cherry Lane cemetery and that is one of the main reasons they are protesting, they say, because they think the cemetery would be under threat if a third runway were ever built.
