A new variety store in Hounslow has been officially opened by Hounslow Toy Library, in exchange for a donation to the charity.

B&M, which describes itself as a modern day Woolworths, opened its newest store at the Blenheim Centre beside ASDA on Friday (October 31).

It invited Cathy Quinn and Lucy Collins, of Hounslow Toy Library, to perform the formalities.

In return it gave them £250 worth of vouchers to spend in store on the charity, which is based in Inwood Park, Hounslow, and lends toys, DVDs and books to children with disabilities.

H&M will be the next big new store to open in Hounslow, with the fashion chain's new outlet set to welcome its first customers next Thursday (November 13).
