Van driver has licence plates stolen in Northolt

A MOTORIST returned to his van to discover both his number plates had been stolen.

A MOTORIST returned to his van to discover both his number plates had been stolen.

They were taken from the white Ford in Reading Road, Northolt, between midday on Sunday (July 26) and 7am the following day.

Any witnesses should contact police on 0300 123 12 12 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Police are urging drivers to fit anti-theft screws to stop the theft of license plates which are then used in insurance scams and other crimes. Contact your local safer neighbourhood team to find out more.
