AN Uxbridge street will close for a month to cope with waterworks which will be taking place.

AN Uxbridge street will close for a month to cope with waterworks which will be taking place.

Cambridge Road, Uxbridge, will be closed off from May 11 to June 12 to faciliate water main renewals.

Hillingdon Council said: "Cambridge Road will be closed between its junctions of Harefield Road and Cornwall Road to facilitate Three Valleys Water Mains renewal works.

"A signed diversion route will be in place for the duration of the closure.

"Resident access will be maintained wherever possible."

People living in adjoining cul-de-sac Maylands Drive and its connecting road Heron Close will also be affected.
