PLANS to knock down a derelict pub in Uxbridge and replace it with housing have resurfaced once again.

Earlier this year plans were rejected to knock down The Old Rockingham Arms pub, on Rockingham Road, Uxbridge, to build flats on it.

Now amended plans have been resubmitted to demolish the pub, and this time build houses on its site.

This application involves five two-storey houses each consisting of three bedrooms, and parking space would be provided onsite.

No consultation yet has taken place with nearby residents, and they are encouraged to make comments to Hillingdon Council.

The applicant is Centremark Properties, based in Southall .
