A MAN who was hit by a train during rush hour is thought to be from Uxbridge.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, was struck by a train between Hayes and Harlington and West Drayton just after 5pm yesterday (Tuesday).
Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene, and police say they are treating the incident as 'non-suspicious'.
He has not yet been formally identified, and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
The incident caused prolonged delays on the First Great Western service between Paddington and Oxford, and normal services resumed at around 7pm.
