THE much-loved Uxbridge Autoshow promises to be bigger and better than ever this year.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Uxbridge, the 26th annual show is on Sunday at the Middlesex Showground, off Park Road.
As well as a treat for 'petrol heads', it promises to be a real family day out, with activities to keep the children entertained, such as comedy outfit the Bournemouth Carnival Band and the fire-breathing Backdraft Wheelie Fire Truck. There are also dozens of stands and stalls and an area reserved for art and antique dealers.
And if it is anything like last year, there will be more than 2,000 cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles - veteran, vintage and club - from more than 100 clubs.
The show is open from 10am until 5pm and tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for senior citizens; children under 14 get in free if accompanied by an adult. [25cf] See next week's Gazette for lots of Autoshow pictures.
