INSTEAD of starting up an unnecessary bus service that goes all round the woods to reach an objective - Uxbridge - why not bring into service the railway line from Ruislip Gardens station to Uxbridge, that is already there?

This line was previously owned by Metronet but is now under the control of Transport for London.

Branching into this line at Ruislip Gardens to allow the Central Line directly into Uxbridge, as well as West Ruislip, would also allow people to use the Central Line - which terminates at West Ruislip - to only have to venture back one stop and use this new line to Uxbridge, thus eliminating a bus route.

To start a bus service, that starts off going the opposite direction from the destination everyone around here would like to go to - our district centre - seems absolutely ludicrous!

Please come over here and try and get to our only A&E at Hillingdon Hospital by public transport.

A direct train service to Uxbridge would require just a short bus ride on a railway service that is already existing.

Opening up access for us by rail to Uxbridge would be more beneficial to shops and businesses at Uxbridge and allow people a direct link to South Ruislip station, where they can access the Chiltern Line.
