MINDLESS thugs kicked a defenceless swan to death in a cruel attack in a Northolt park.
The sick youths were spotted in Northala Fields by a member of the public who called police. After kicking the poor animal to the ground, the bullies were then seen stamping on its head.
The police arrived shortly afterwards, at about 6.40pm on Monday December 20 but the killers were gone and the bird lay dead in the snow. The police then alerted the Royal Society for the Protection of Animals (RSPCA).
All three thugs wore hooded sweatshirts, one was Asian and the other two were white.
The RSPCA have now taken over the investigation.
Animal welfare officer Nicola Broster, said: "This was an unbelievably cruel and vicious attack. The swan's head was stamped on and it would have undergone a huge amount of pain and suffering. A large amount of people were in the park in the snow so others must have seen what happened."
