Is there an ulterior motive for trust's actions?

WITH the NHS bureaucrats desperate to privatise our excellent health service, which has served us well for more than 60 years, they have plans for: a) a polyclinic to divert people away from the hospital; b) primary school with nursery; c) housing to replace Surbiton Hospital.

WITH the NHS bureaucrats desperate to privatise our excellent health service, which has served us well for more than 60 years, they have plans for: a) a polyclinic to divert people away from the hospital; b) primary school with nursery; c) housing to replace Surbiton Hospital.

Can any person inform me who in Kingston Primary Care Trust (or elsewhere) sanctioned the loss of Surbiton Hospital, and the reason, before I may be driven to conclude that there is some ulterior motive for such actions.

Have any councillors made representations for schools?

Have any GPs made representations to move their surgeries onto this site?

I believe we have lost democratic power for the future generation, as it is virtually impossible to hold to account the powers that be.
