TWO PEOPLE managed to escape when a fire broke out in a Stonebridge Park home.

The blaze happened at around 3.25pm yesterday at a three floor terraced house in Rainborough Close.

The London Fire Brigade sent six engines out to the property, and 30 firefighters tackled the flames. 

The house was gutted by the fire, and a small part of an adjoining house was also damaged.

Two people escaped the house, and were suffering from smoke inhalation. 

They were taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.

No one else was hurt.Fire crews from Ealing, Action, Willesden and Wembley fire stations tackled the blaze until 5.13pm.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.
