Two men were arrested this morning in connection with an attack on stewards and fans at last week's Championship QPR v Wigan game at Loftus Road.
A 35-year-old and a 29-year-old were taken to a north London police station and have been bailed to a date in early June.
The arrests come after police appealed for help to find men thought to have been involved in a spout of violence at last Monday's (12) Championship play-off semi-final second leg .
During the second half of the game, stewards attempted to remove a fan from the upper tier of the South Africa Road stand which prompted supporters to push and shove, resulting in fans and stewards falling backwards down the steep stairway.
Then, some fans punched, pushed and kicked the stewards but luckily nobody was badly hurt.
Police are still searching for five men in connection with the violence which getwestlondon put out an appeal for yesterday. Click here to see pictures and a video of the men .
Anyone who is able to identify any of the men pictured is asked to contact officers from Operation Arrowtip on 020 8246 0076 between 08.00 and 16.00hrs.
