TWO young men remain in critically ill following a country lane car crash involving two vehicles in Stanmore.

A Honda and a Fiesta were travelling in the same direction from Stanmore towards Bushey along The Common at 4.45am yesterday when they somehow collided, left the road and both ended up in a ditch.

The man behind the wheel of the Honda, aged 36, has 'moderate injuries' and was discharged from hospital later that day.
