Two men facing drugs charges following the death of a teenage boy at an 'illegal rave' in Hayes are set to face trial in July.

Daniel Spargo-Mabbs, 16 and from Croydon (pictured), was found unconscious in a disused warehouse in Silverdale Road in the early hours of January 18, and he died in hospital two days later.

The cause of death will be confirmed at the inquest, but police said at the time that they believed that Daniel 'suffered the effects of a drug overdose.'

Ryan Kirk, 21, of Puffin Close, Beckenham, and Nicqueel Pitrora, 18, of London Road, Croydon, were both charged with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, in connection with the death. Mr Pitrora is also accused of possession of cannabis.

Appearing at Isleworth Crown Court today (Wednesday, April 23), the pair were held in custody and their plea and case management hearings will now go ahead on Wednesday, May 28.

The provisional trial date has been set for Monday, July 14.
