TV Barrymore charged over crash in Acton

ENTERTAINER Michael Barrymore will appear in court next month charged with possessing cocaine and being drunk and disorderly after a an early morning car crash.

ENTERTAINER Michael Barrymore will appear in court next month charged with possessing cocaine and being drunk and disorderly after a an early morning car crash.

The 59-year-old was in a Citroen DS3 which hit a kerb at the junction of The Vale and Dordrecht Road, W3.

He was arrested with another man on suspicion of drink driving. It is not known who was at the wheel when the accident happened, at about 4.30am last Tuesday (Dec 22).

Michael Barrymore, born Michael Parker, of Acton, will appear at Ealing Magistrates' Court on December 7.

Both have been bailed until mid-December while police make further inquiries.
