ON BEHALF of the friendly over-50s club coffee morning, held at Northolt Library every second Wednesday of the month, I would like to thank the choir of St Raphael's School, Northolt, and helpers for entertaining us with Christmas carols, followed by coffee and mince pies.
It was a delight to listen to the singing led by the music teacher, Helen Gargun, and the entertainment was very much appreciated by all.
The next meeting is after Christmas, on Wednesday, January 12, at 10.30pm. David Blackwell will be speaking about the heritage centre in Oldfield Lane, Greenford. If you are over 50 and want somewhere to go to meet new friends, do come along and join us.
