I AM writing on behalf of the Meningitis Trust to wish our 15 supporters from London good luck in running the London Marathon for us on Sunday.

The runners will be part of the trust's All Stars team, who are hoping to raise £200,000 for our work, providing a lifeline to people in the UK living with the effects of meningitis.

We are reliant on voluntary donations to continue our vital work in the community, so support like this is essential to our future.

With a recent survey indicating that there are more than 500,000 people in the UK directly affected by meningitis right now, our continuing work is much needed.

If you want to learn more about what we do and how the runners efforts will make a difference, log on to www.meningitis-trust.org or contact me direct.
