THE FRIENDS and family of a 25-year-old man who died from stab wounds at the weekend have posted heartfelt tributes online.

Luke Fitzpatrick died near The Ox and Gate Pub in Dollis Hill on Saturday night at around 11.30.

He had been at the pub with his father Bernard when there was an altercation, which spilled outside the pub to Crest Road and its junction with Alder Grove.

Luke died at the scene, and his father suffered stab injuries after reportedly trying to physically protect his son from attackers.

His father is in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

Luke's friends and family have poured out their emotions on social networking sites.

Kevin Georgiou, also known as Roc Nation rapper K Koke, tweeted: "#Gone2SoonRIP luke my cuzy its love forever" and "R I P my cuzzy LUKE lost his life on da roadside lastnyt #TheGOODdieYOUNG"

Another friend Tweeted: "Luke brought every 1 together! love 4eva darg and c u wen I get there."

A post-mortem was held for Luke at Northwick Park Hospital mortuary on Sunday, which gave the cause of death as a stab wound.

Police have launched a murder enquiry following the incident.

Both victims had been at the pub where people gathered to watch the Champions League final on TV.

DCI Duffield said: "We urgently need to hear from anyone who was in or near the Ox and Gate pub around 23.30pm that evening.

"The pub was still very busy at that time, and we are confident that several people will have seen elements of what happened - we urge them to come forward and contact the incident room. If they wish to remain anonymous they may call Crimestoppers."

- Three men were arrested on the night, two of them were 17-years-old and one was 31-years-old. They were taken to separate London police stations. The 31-year-old man was bailed to return in late June pending further enquiries and the other two suspects remain in custody.
