The man accused of killing mum Faye Norris in a horror car crash over Christmas will stand trial later this year.

Carl Morris from Hayes will stand before a judge on June 1 at Harrow Crown Court where he will face the charge of death by dangerous driving.

It follows the fatal accident in Eastcote Lane , Harrow on December 27 which claimed the life of 31-year-old Ms Norris. She succumbed to her injuries on January 3.

The date for Morris’s trial was set when he appeared at the Hailsham Drive court earlier today (January 26). Before the trial commences Morris will appear back at Harrow Crown Court for a mention hearing in April. He is remanded in custody.

Following Faye's death, thousands of pounds was raised for her young son , and touching tributes left on the getwestlondonFacebook page .
