A WOMAN has appeared at court charged with child abduction.

Joana Chiba appeared at Feltham Magistrates' Court last Friday (April 5) accused of taking a child from the Treaty Centre, in Hounslow High Street, on February 17.

The 56-year-old, of Heston Road, Hounslow, was remanded in custody to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on May 13.
