TRAFFIC came to a standstill after a crash on the A40.

TRAFFIC came to a standstill after a crash on the A40 this morning (Match 15).

The collision, involving a blue BMW and a black Vauxhall Corsa, is said to have happened at 8.22am on the Hillingdon turn off.

Police closed the road after arriving at the scene at 8.40am. All lanes were reopened at 9am.

One ambulance crew also attended at about the same time but no one was seriously injured or taken to hospital.
