MYLEENE Klass made a surprise appearance at the weekend's Barrio Fiesta in Lampton Park.
The former Hear'Say singer turned TV presenter, who is half Filipino, went on stage briefly to say hello to the crowds on Sunday.
An estimated 100,000 revellers packed into the park in Hounslow over the two days as the annual Filipino event made a successful comeback following last year's shambles.
The festival, which draws people from across the country, was cancelled at the eleventh hour last year due to health and safety fears. A smaller version was eventually organised later that summer.
There were no such problems this year as crowds braved the elements to enjoy Filipino music and dancing by groups from across the UK.
Hollywood actor Michael Copon, who starred in The Scorpion King 2, was the main attraction over the weekend, with a stirring display of singing and dancing.
Arlene de la Cruz, one of the organisers, said: “It was very good. There was a big turnout, especially on Sunday, despite the weather.”
