Ann Keen's position is now quite clear. Despite her empty words and statements to the contrary, she will always vote with the Labour government in favour of the third runway and Terminal 6, as she did last week. So will her husband,Alan Keen, the Labour MP for Feltham and Heston.

We must now all work to ensure the election of Mary Macleod in Brentford and Isleworth, Mark Bowen in Feltham and Heston, and Zac Goldsmith in Richmond Park.

These young, energetic, principled local campaigners have consistently opposed the third runaway and Terminal 6 and their Conservative Party, remaining true to its name, also opposes the third runway and Terminal 6.

Other parties, such as the Greens and the Liberal Democrats, also oppose the third runway

and Terminal 6 but they have no chance of defeating Ann and Alan Keen at the next general election. On the contrary, they will split the anti-Heathrow expansion vote so a vote for them will, in effect, be a vote for Labour and Heathrow Expansion.

Irrespective of our party political loyalties, we must not allow Ann and Alan Keen to be elected once again, to vote loyally with this dreadful, incompetent, corrupt and dishonest government, as they always do when push comes to shove.

It is time for a change and only the Conservatives can bring about a change of government for the better.
