A blaze at a house in Tolworth is being tackled by firefighters.
Eight fire engines and 58 firefighters from the London Fire Brigade (LFB) are attending the scene by the side of the A3.
Crews have been at the scene, in Tolworth Rise, since 4.55am on Tuesday (February 27).
According to the LFB, the roof of two shops - which have flats above them - is on fire.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.

Road closures in place
The fire is by the side of the A3’s southbound carriageway, but the A3 itself remains open (albeit with slow traffic due to rubberneckers).
However, the service road parallel to the A3 between Southwood Drive and Oakdene Drive is closed to allow the fire brigade to deal with the fire.

Eight fire engines and 58 firefighters and officers have been called to a fire at shops with flats above in Tolworth Rise South in Tolworth this morning.
The roof of two shops is alight.
The Brigade was called at 0455. Fire engines from New Malden, Surbiton, Sutton, Wimbledon, Kingston and surrounding fire stations are at the scene.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
