YOUNGSTERS in Brent competed for the title of the fastest toddler on two wheels in a fun strider cup competition.

Agroup of eight children took to their no-pedal balance bikes in ajunior race on Sunday held at Malorees Junior School, ChristchurchAvenue, Kilburn.

KensalGreen youngster Leo Wilks, aged five, beat his fellow finalists at thefirst Strider Cup Test event of its kind, which will culminate in afull cup day with children competing from all over the country.

Asthe events are open to children from 18 months to five years old, wefeel that its the best way to encourage young children to try outtwo-wheeled racing in a safe and fun-play environment.
