A family from Sipson are distraught after their Shih Tzu dog went missing on Sunday (December 6).

Chloe Russell, of Blunts Avenue, is desperate to find her dog, Dolcie, who she's had since she was a tiny puppy.

Dolcie, the black female Shih Tzu is around eight years old and is a "cute ball of fluff".

Missing: Dolcie the Shih Tzu

Ms Russell said: "It would mean everything to get her back, we miss her so much.

"She's like a teddy bear, if anyone found her they'd just want to keep her."

Ms Russell, who lives with her partner and has three other dogs, says it is upsetting seeing her three-year-old daughter's reaction to the missing family pet.

She said: "My daughter keeps calling out for her, every time we go out in the car she'll be calling her name and saying she misses her.

"Her elderly rabbit just died recently and I'm dreading my daughters face if I have to tell her we aren't getting Dolcie back."

Dolcie is microchipped and has a high alert attached to the chip.

Ms Russell added: "Dolcie isn't an outside dog at all - she wasn't one for the cold and wouldn't stay outside for long

"I've tried calling vets, animal charities and knocking on doors so this is my last hope to find her."
