THREE non-executive directors have joined the body that runs Northwick Park, St Mark’s and Central Middlesex Hospitals and serves half a million patients a year.
The North West London Hospitals NHS Trust welcomes the appointments of Caroline Corby, Stella Dutton and David Taube.
Hampstead writer and former Camden Labour councillor Mrs Corby joins the trust following a 13 year career working in the City specialising in private equity. She used to be chairwoman of the London Probation Trust and now chairs Fitness to Practice panels for the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Ms Dutton recently retired after eight years as chief executive officer of the BMJ Group, which publishes the British Medical Journal and other speciality journals.
Professor Taube, a consultant nephrologist, is one of the country’s leading renal physicians, and the UK’s only professor of transplant medicine.
He is a director of the Imperial College Academic Health Science Centre and the ex-medical director of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
The new board members joined on April 1 and will serve until March 21, 2015, on a salary of £6,096.
