THREE people were taken to hospital after they were attacked by a group of men who burst into their house armed with a hammer.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident at a home in Uxbridge Road, Hayes, near the Ossie

Garvin roundabout on June 16 at 12.30pm.

All of the four suspects are white males, about 5ft 8ins, between the age of 18 to 25, wearing blue jeans, jumpers, and sunglasses. Three of them also had scarves covering their mouths and noses and the other was wearing a hat. One was also seen carrying a hammer.

Police are still investigating what was stolen during the ordeal.

Detective Constable Andy Gibbs said: "We are keen to trace the suspects in this incident and urgently need to identify any witnesses who may have further information.

"We believe that the suspects may have been transported to the location in a van and were seen to run away along Quebec Road and down an alley in Dorchester Waye and towards Mintern Waye."

Police have not revealed the extent of the victims' injuries.
