Three drug dealers from Hounslow have been jailed for a total of 16 years after police discovered more than £90,000 worth of heroin and crack cocaine.

Gursev Matharoo, 28, of Heath Road, Hounslow, was jailed for eight years; Hardeep Sagoo, 34, of Sutton Way, Hounslow, was sentenced to five years in prison; and Richard Finnelly, 39, of Slade House, Edgar Road, Hounslow, got three years.

All three were sentenced at Kingston Crown Court last Thursday (November 6), having admitted possession of class A drugs with the intent to supply.

The court heard how on May 1, acting on intelligence, officers from Trident Gang Crime Command and Hounslow Crime Squad carried out drugs warrants at two premises in Hounslow.

At a house in Sutton Way, officers found heroin and crack cocaine hidden in kitchen cupboards, and £7,000 in cash taped to a pipe in a boiler cupboard.

During the operation, police seized heroin and cocaine with an estimated street value of £90,000.

Matharoo and Sagoo were arrested that day and Finnelly was taken into custody a few weeks later.

DC Sarah Smart, of Trident Gang Crime Command, who oversaw the investigation, said: "These three men were responsible for a large majority of class A drug supply in Hounslow and Richmond.

"Thanks to the efforts of my team and colleagues from Hounslow we have put these three drug dealers behind bars for a significant period of time. This is a message to other dealers; we will catch you and seize the assets you derived from your criminal activity.

"Drug dealers cause significant harm to our communities and dependent users have been linked to committing other crimes to fund their drug habit."
