CHRISTMAS was officially launched in Fulham last week when their festive lights were switched on.
Residents braved sub-zero conditions to take part in the celebrations at Jerdan Place on Friday (3/12).
Hammersmith and Fulham Council deputy mayor Frances Stainton pushed the button during an afternoon filled with festive fun.
She was joined by Fulham FC mascot Terry Bytes and amateur dramatic pantomime company Back End Productions and the cast from their 2010 pantomime Beauty and the Bust.
Take That 2 tribute band and the Fulham Brass Band provided the musical entertainment as people flocked to the event, by St John's Church, between 3.30pm and 7.30pm.
