Thief snatches iPad from man outside Hammersmith restaurant

A MAN had his iPad snatched out of his hands while sitting outside a Hammersmith restaurant on Sunday.

A MAN had his iPad snatched out of his hands while sitting outside a Hammersmith restaurant on Sunday.

At around 7.15pm, September 23, the victim and a female companion were sat at a table outside Persian restaurant Yas in Hammersmith Road.

While the man was using his iPad a slim dark skinned black man grabbed it from him and began running down Avonmore Road.

The pair gave chase but the suspect jumped into what police believe to be a silver Peugeot 206 which was parked by the junction with Avonmore Place.

The suspect is believed to be aged around 18 to 20-years-old and was wearing a dark coloured top with the hood up and dark jacket on top with black trousers.
