Among those taking part will be Prince Charles and Prime Minister David Cameron.
It is the biggest awards ceremony of its kind in the country, celebrating the achievements of unsung heroes, and was again the highest-rated awards show on British television last year.
We would like to get the message to your readers that the nomination period is still open so we can ensure that extraordinary people from every part of the country get the recognition they deserve.
With your help, they could be people from your area.
