A WOMAN from Croxley Green has been arrested in connection with a burglary at the home belonging to the parents of football star Theo Walcott.

A white VW Golf car and electrical equipment were stolen during the break-in, at Mr and Mrs Walcott's home in Felden Wood, near Hemel Hempstead, between 4.30pm on February 16 and midnight on February 17.

Around the time of the burglary, Walcott (pictured) was playing for Arsenal who claimed victory over Barcelona in the knock-out stages of the Champions League.

The 25-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been released on bail, pending further enquiries. She is due to return to Hemel Hemstead police station on March 9.

Kevin Wood, 32, of Shrubhill Road, Hemel Hempstead has been charged with burglary and vehicle theft. He has been remanded in custody until March 7.

Another man, Changaz Khan, 28, of Dellfield Road, Chesham, has also been charged with burglary, and remanded in custody until March 21.

Police are also hunting for a third man believed to be involved in the break-in.
