In the front page article on the subject of my shop, Harefield Pets and Grooming [I've lost my business, Harefield Gazette, November 5] it was stated that the council charges me £400 a quarter to collect my refuse.
The above is a mistake, and should have read that the payment was collected twice yearly,and the fee is £338.00 plus VAT. I would like to take this oportunity to apologise to Hillingdon Council.
There were other inaccuracies in the article,and I am not, in fact, closing the shop, but extending the grooming facilities into the main shop, thus reducing the retail area accordingly.
Again, I apologise for the incorrect information.
