I WISH to express to the residents of Brent and Harrow my sincere grattitude for electing me as their
London Assembly Member and vesting their trust in me.I give my assurance that I will remain your active community worker and continue to serve all communities equally.
As a first step towards delivering my prime election promise I will be resigning as the Leader of Harrow Labour Group in June at the AGM of the Labour Group to enable me to dedicate time and attention this onerous role requires.
Soon I will be announcing my plans for regular surgeries/public forums to engage effectively with local residents, voluntary agencies, stakeholders and businesses etc.to address London Assembly related local and London-wide issues and concerns.
