A local Tesco store in Ealing is preparing to welcome award winning TV chef, Manju Malhi.
Ms Mahli, who has appeared on BBC, ITV, Sky One and Channel 5 cookery shows, will be visiting the Tesco Metro Ealing Broadway store this weekend and performing live cookery demonstrations.
Ms Mahli will be creating a range of delicious dishes from 11am on Saturday January 24 with a special pop-up kitchen, which will be set up at the Tesco Metro store inside the Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre.
Tesco Metro, store manager, James Moss, said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming Manju and offering something different to those visiting the Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre this weekend”.
Ms Mahli, who grew up in North London, specialises in Indian cooking and has developed her own unique Brit-Indi style of food. Some of the dishes that she will be creating during the demonstration will include Malabar King Prawn Curry, Chicken Jalfrezi and Spiced Sweet Potatoes.
Customers will be able to sample all of the dishes and take recipe cards away with them so that they can recreate Ms Mahli's meals at home.
“The dishes that Manju will be creating sound delicious and I’m sure our customers will love them”, added James.
“What’s great about the recipes is that they’re designed to be easy to make at home so we hope that the demonstrations from Manju will inspire our customer to try out the recipes for themselves”.
The cookery demonstrations will be running from 11am to 4pm with a different recipe cooked each hour.
