In his letter of October 16, Mr Westoll asserts that Hounslow's Conservative-led council, "now wants to use the family silver money that has been accumulated by the Labour administration".

Clues as to under which of the crumbling assets we inherited the family silver is buried would be much appreciated - as well as volunteers to help us dig (training and equipment will be provided).
