A teenager has been banned from entering Harrow for three years after committing more than 800 crimes.

Matthew O'Brien, 19, spent nine months in prison for carrying out the offences between September 2005 and April 2007 but was released on Tuesday (August 11).

The crimes were mostly thefts from motor vehicles.

Following an application by Sergeant Jon Myers of Roxeth Safer Neighbourhoods Team, Uxbridge

Magistrates Court granted a three-year Anti-Social Behaviour Order (ASBO) against O'Brien which lasts until April 2011. It also stops him from entering neighbouring borough Hillingdon.

If O'Brien, who used to live in Barnard Gardens, Hayes, breaches his ASBO he faces further punishment and possibly returning to jail.

If you see O'Brien in Harrow call the police on 020 8423 1212 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
