THREE people have been arrested after a teenager was found stabbed near Hounslow station in the early hours of this morning (Monday, August 19).

The 17-year-old was found in Whitton Road, Hounslow, near the flats opposite Ivy Road, by paramedics just after 1pm.

A police spokesman said police were called at about 1.30am and he was still being treated when officers arrived at the scene. He was taken to a central London hospital. He added that his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Three people were arrested at the scene and are being held in custody at a west London police station.

When the Chronicle visited the scene this morning, most people said they were not aware of any incident, though one woman said there had been about 100 people at the scene after the stabbing.

One man said there had not been any problems with crime in recent months, though another claimed there had been another stabbing just down the road a few months ago and he was 'not surprised'.
