A BOY aged just 14 threatened his victim with a fake sawn-off shotgun during a robbery in Hounslow.

The youngster, now 15, found guilty on Wednesday last week at Isleworth Crown Court of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

The fake weapon was used in a robbery in Chatsworth Crescent, Hounslow, on October 17 last year, in which the victim’s sunglasses and baseball cap were taken.

The youth, of Hounslow, who cannot be named, had already admitted one charge of robbery and three of attempted robbery. He is due to return to court for sentencing on April 29.
