A TUBE passenger was sexually assaulted near Harrow-on-the-Hill Station by the same man who had earlier attempted to do the same thing in a train carriage.

A 32-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault in connection with an attack on a teenager.

The man presented himself to a police station yesterday, the day after police had appealed for help in identifying two men caught on CCTV.

Detectives are investigating a serious sexual assault on a 17-year-old girl in Clarendon Road in Harrow town centre on February 6 between 10pm and 10.15pm.

Earlier that evening the same attacker had attempted to sexually assault her on a Metropolitan line train travelling eastbound. He followed her off the train at Harrow-on-the-Hill Station, having boarded at Eascote Station.

The 32-year-old man was bailed pending further enquires to a date in May.
