Hundreds came together for an annual Funday Sunday and to bid farewell to a fantastic fundraiser.

Children, parents, staff and members of the community were joined by MP for Ealing North Steve Pound and the Deputy Mayor of Ealing, Councillor Harbhajan Kaur Dheer, for Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Primary School’s summer fair on Sunday (July 6).

A send off was given to parent Toni De Feo-Mayers, who has been part of The Friends of the Visitation, Greenford , for six years and has chaired the fundraising and social committee for four.

She is stepping aside from her duties with her daughter moving to high school but will remain as a school governor.

Ms Feo-Mayers said: “This is an emotional day for me and I’d like to thank everyone who has been involved in our fundraising events.”

The highlight of the day was the school’s talent competition, OLOVs Got Talent, which was won by Gabby Evans, 10, who performed a song she composed herself.

Headteacher Kathleen Coll said: “I’d like to thank all of the parents who took part in our Funday Sunday. In addition to those who help organise it, I’d also like to thank the parents who attend on the day; we wouldn’t be able to put on the event without them.”
