Police uncovered weapons, cash and cannabis in an early morning raid on a suspected drugs den in Harrow Weald.

Cops surrounded the semi-detached house, in Hutton Lane, at 8am on Friday (23), before smashing open the front door.

As well as cannabis plants and bags of drugs an arsenal of weapons was discovered on the raid, including CS gas, a sword, a crossbow and an array of knives.

Sergeant Paul Aynsley said: "We executed a search and obtained a warrant after we were supplied information about drug dealing at this house.

"The search was very successful, we found a quantity of cannabis leaves and cultivation equipment.

"We also discovered a sword, a collection of knives, a paint gun and an air rifle and there was a quantity of money, believed to be in the thousands."

More than 20 police officers took part in the raid, including members of the Harrow Weald Safer Neighbourhood Team and Harrow's crime squad.

Two men, aged 19 and 24, were arrested at the scene for offences related to drugs and weapons.
