THE school which a child who died tragically from swine flu attended is still reeling in shock.

St Catherine's Primary School, in Money Lane, West Drayton, has now closed for the term, and will not reopen until September.

The school's summer fayre, due to take place on Sunday, was also cancelled in light of the events, with the school deciding it would not be appropriate for it to go ahead.

Chloe Buckley, aged six, from Napier Close, West Drayton, became the 16th UK victim of swine flu when it was announced yesterday (Monday) that she has passed away on Thursday.

Gazette reader Wayne Beckett e-mailed in after reading the tragic news on the website, he said: "This is so wrong its such a cruel world, RIP Chloe."
