SWINE flu has struck two brothers who attend Vyners School, in Ickenham.

The pupils, who go to Vyners School, in Warren Road, are recovering at home, and have not been at the school for several days.

Students were told during an assembly this morning and advised not to panic, and that the school would not be closing.

The decision was made following advice from the Health Protection Agency, who assess each situation on its individual needs.

The school said they were assessing two further suspected cases but did not know for sure at this stage if it was swine flu or not.

The school said they will be updating their website shortly, with advice to parents.

In the meantime, anybody who believes they have any suspected symptoms of swine flu is advised to stay at home and call a GP.
