A suspicious package which turned out to be a bag of clothes caused traffic and chaos in Feltham earlier today (Jan 19).
Police were called to the High Street in Feltham, near Manor Lane, to an incident outside the Tesco supermarket at 8.14am.
Part of the High Street was blocked off as officers dealt with the suspicious package.
The incident caused tailbacks in the area.
The package was cleared within an hour and traffic is now back to normal.
Police confirmed the incident.
A police spokesman said: "We were called to a suspicious package that turned out to be a bag of clothing."
