Suspected Tesco robber arrested at Bedfont Lakes

A MAN has been arrested after a police helicopter search over Bedfont Lakes this morning.

A MAN has been arrested after a police helicopter search over Bedfont Lakes this morning.

The incident follows an earlier car accident nearby on Clockhouse Lane, by the Clockhouse Roundabout off the A30 on the border between Hounslow and Surrey.

A tweet by MPS Helicopters at 11.05am confirmed the arrest and read: 'Just completing search over Bedfont Lakes @MPSHounslow. 1 male suspect detained.'

Also earlier today, a robbery is reported to have taken place at the Tesco in Feltham High Street.

A Tesco spokesperson said: ‘"This is a matter for the police and we will be helping them with their investigation in any way we can."

It is believed that all three incidents could be linked to each other, however the Police have so far been unable to confirm anything other than to say their investigations are continuing.
